  • The film has been officially rated for ages 12 and up by the FSK. Due to the dimmed lighting, visitors cannot tour the museum during the silent film screening.

Jörg Joachim Riehle provides a live musical accompaniment to this horror classic on the Mighty Wurlitzer, one of Europe’s largest cinema and theatre organs. F. W. Murnau’s “Nosferatu” (1922) is considered a milestone in Expressionist silent film. It tells the story of Count Orlok, who brings plague and death to the fictional port city of Wisborg.
