The Long Night of Museums takes place on 29 August 2026 from 6 pm to 2 am.
For one night, museums, exhibition spaces, planetariums and memorials across Berlin open their doors – with guided tours, concerts, performances, workshops and DJ sets. With one ticket, you can visit all participating venues and use the Long Night shuttle buses. Find out more about the Long Night of Museums on About us. This year’s theme is Crime in Berlin. Tickets for the Long Night of Museums 2026 are available from 3 August in our online shop.
From 3 to 16 August, the standard ticket costs €15, reduced €12. From 17 August onwards, the standard ticket costs €23, reduced €17.
Children up to the age of 12 have free admission.
The €5 voucher from the Museum Island Festival (6 June 2026) can be redeemed exclusively on the day of the Long Night of Museums (29 August 2026), between 5:00 pm and midnight, at the Long Night of Museums information booth on Museum Island.
Please note that only cash payments are accepted when redeeming the voucher. Only one voucher may be used per ticket.
From the end of July, you will find the events of all participating museums listed here under the ‘Programme’ menu.
Many events are interesting for children and teenagers, and many museums offer their very own children’s program.
There are many events during the Long Night for which you don’t need to speak German, such as concerts, performances and workshops. Many museums offer guided tours in English, some even in other languages.
