With more than 240 paintings, sculptures and works on paper, the private art collection Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg in the eastern Stüler Building opposite Charlottenburg Palace covers the history of fantastic art – from Piranesi’s dungeon visions to the enigmatic imaginings of Max Ernst, René Magritte and Jean Dubuffet.
