1929, the Prohibition era: The annual meeting of the “Friends of Italian Opera” is taking place at the Museum of Communication. Even mafiosi need to brush up on their coding skills. Following a raid on an illegal nightclub, witnesses to a mafia murder – all in disguise – are on the run and find themselves right in the middle of the gathering.
Amid secret codes, mix-ups, the rousing swing ensemble – the Gerrit Rößler Sextet Swing Orchestra – and an unexpected upheaval, a fast-paced comedy unfolds, loosely based on the motto: “Nobody’s perfect.”
A roughly 30-minute mix of acting, live music, and audience participation.
