The National Socialists branded modern art as “degenerate” and had works confiscated from German museums. Some of these were stored at Schönhausen House. Dr. Ulrike Schmiegelt, curator of the new permanent exhibition there – titled “Art – People – Power” – offers insights into this past and talks about the people involved, the artists, and the artworks.
