Discover, through striking press photographs, how the view of Berlin has changed since the 1920s. Around 100 years ago, compact cameras and new printing techniques gave rise to an entirely new profession: press photography. From political upheavals and sporting events to everyday life on the streets of the metropolis, photographers captured what was happening in Berlin – including crimes and criminal cases, which had their regular place in daily news coverage.
