  • The Cosmo Kitchen in the Zeiss-Großplanetarium offers a wide range of dishes, refreshing drinks and regularly changing delicacies: Coffee specialities, heavenly cakes, hearty soups, fresh salads and much more - a culinary orbit full of variety and flavour. There are also homemade lemonades, juices, wines, aperitifs and long drinks.

  • The ZGP planetarium hall has a limited number of seats, so tickets are required for the short programmes.

  • For the short programmes in the planetarium hall of the ZGP, tickets (free with the Long Night of Museums ticket) are required, which can be collected from the ticket office from 2 hours before the respective event.

The planetarium hall and the cinema hall are accessible for wheelchair users.

Fly through space and explore the secrets of the universe! Europe’s most modern science theatre with a dome measuring 30 metres in diameter awaits its visitors with the latest 360º-full-dome technology. Opened in 1987, the planetarium is one of the last prestige buildings of the former GDR.
