The permanent exhibition housed in Berlin’s oldest building, directly in the heart of the Nikolaiviertel, looks back on 800 years of city history. Having been destroyed in the Second World War, St. Nicholas Church was rebuilt and opened as a museum in 1987. Today, it also serves as a venue for art exhibitions and concerts.
