T. rex Tristan Otto and Brachiosaurus brancai – the latter proving the largest skeleton in the world at a height of more than 13 metres – are probably the museum’s most famous exhibits. Jointly founded in 1810 with Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, the museum houses around 25 million objects, which makes it Germany’s most comprehensive natural-history collection.
