Twenty years ago, Helmut Newton launched his foundation in the former Landwehrkasino at the Berlin Zoologischer Garten station. Together with the photographic collection of the Kunstbibliothek (Art Library), the foundation has since been known as the ‘Museum of Photography’. The exhibition ‘Berlin Berlin’, a tribute to Newton’s home city, celebrates the museum’s 20th anniversary.
