Mori Ōgai Memorial

Waiting times on site
  • Open from 18:00 until 02:00
  • As the number of participants in our programmes is limited, we ask you to arrive early - first come, first serve.

Unfortunately, the Mori Ōgai Memorial is not barrier-free.

The Mori-Ōgai Memorial Center is dedicated to intercultural research and educational work. The focus is on the life and work of the Japanese writer and physician Mori Ōgai (1862–1922) and his world. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Tokyo and Berlin, an exhibition examines the traveller’s view of the Japanese metropolis at the turn of the 20th century using historical aluminum prints.
