The design for the entrance building and visitor centre on the Museum Island was created by the architect David Chipperfield.The current special exhibition presents the well-preserved bronze statues from an Etruscan-Roman sanctuary in San Casciano, Tuscany, which were discovered in 2022 at the still active thermal spring.
