Founded in 1925 in the wake of the horrors of the First World War, this is the first museum of its kind in the world. On display are historical photos, documents and objects, augmented by information on current trouble spots. An air-raid shelter enables visitors to experience for themselves the oppressive feeling of sleepless nights under siege.
