Out and about on the Long Night of Museums
Berlin has an excellent local transport network. On the night from Saturday to Sunday, all underground (U-Bahn) and suburban (S-Bahn) trains run throughout the night. If you don’t have a BVG subscription or a Deutschlandticket, we recommend a 24-hour ticket for fare zone AB, which costs 10,60 Euro. It is valid for one adult and up to three children aged between 6 and 14; younger children travel for free.
Would you like to visit a museum in Charlottenburg, Lichtenberg or Kreuzberg and be dropped off right at the door? Fancy experiencing a nostalgic bus ride with your friends or children? Then hop on board our buses! On the Yellow Line in the north, you’ll be travelling in BVG buses from the 1950s to the 1980s, lovingly restored to their original condition.
