Berlin Secrets

“Berlin Secrets” is the theme of this year’s Long Night of Museums. Set out on a search for clues, peep through keyholes, get the creeps at murder-mystery readings or climb down into crypts and bunkers!

About us

The Long Night of Museums – invented in Berlin in 1997 and imitated throughout the world – continues to attract tens of thousands of visitors. It is brought into being by the joint efforts of Berlin’s museums and Kulturprojekte Berlin.

Our Shuttles

Our shuttle buses on four lines will drop you off in front of museums located outside Berlin’s city centre. Shuttle West, Shuttle East and Shuttle South (all from 6 pm) run back and forth, while Shuttle North (from 5 pm) services a circular route.

Out and about on the Long Night of Museums

Berlin has a very well-developed local transport network (BVG). From Saturdays to Sundays, all underground (U-Bahn) and suburban (S-Bahn) trains run throughout the night.

If you don’t have a VBB travel pass or Deutschlandticket, we recommend you buy a 24-hour ticket for tariff zone AB for 9.90 euros. It’s valid for one adult and up to three children aged 6 to 14; younger children travel for free.
The carriage of a bicycle costs an additional 5.50 euros.

Would you like to be dropped off directly in front of a museum in Charlottenburg, in Lichtenberg or in the deep south of Berlin? Would you like to experience a vintage bus trip with your friends or children just like in the good old days? Then hop on our buses! The north and south shuttle routes will be serviced with BVG buses from the 50s to 80s that have been restored to how they were by the enthusiasts’ association Arbeitsgemeinschaft Traditionsbus Berlin.

The shuttle lines, stops and journey times can be found here.
