Vaginal Davis: Fabelhaftes Produkt
20 years after the artist, author and performer Vaginal Davis moved from Los Angeles to Berlin, the Gropius Bau is showing the first comprehensive solo exhibition of her work in Germany. It combines punk and glamour, queer activism and black counterculture as well as resistance and desire. On display are works from 1985 to 2025 - including paintings, films, zines and performances - as well as artistic collaborations, for example with the CHEAP collective and Jonathan Berger.
The entrance to the Gropius Bau via the barrier-free entrance to the left of the main entrance is suitable for people with limited mobility, wheelchairs and pushchairs. The building has barrier-free access to all three exhibition floors. There are toilets in the basement and on the first floor that can also be used by people with reduced mobility.
