The DEFA cult film "Sieben Sommersprossen” (Seven Freckles), which captivated more than 1.2 million visitors in the GDR in 1978, will be shown in the DDR Museum cinema. The story of Karoline and Robert, who experience their first love at a vacation camp, also points to the social control of sexuality in the GDR.
