FAQ

The Long Night of Museums takes place on August 24, 2024, from 6 pm to 2 am.

Some of the museums located outside the city centre open as early as 5 pm and close at midnight: the Archenhold Observatory in Treptow, the Energy Museum in Lankwitz, the Berlin-Hohenschönhausen Memorial, the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Charlottenburg and the Mitte Museum near Gesundbrunnen. Best to start your evening there!

The two children’s museums – Labyrinth Children’s Museum in Wedding and MACHmit! Children’s Museum in Prenzlauer Berg – are open from 4 to 10 pm. The Wilhelm Foerster Observatory in Schöneberg only opens from 8 pm, when it gets dark, to midnight.

From July 29 to August 11, the ticket costs 12 euros, if discounted, 10 euros; from 12 – 24 August, it costs 18 euros, if discounted, 12 euros. Children up to the age of 12 have free admission, but need a children’s ticket, which is free of charge.
