The Long Night of Museums takes place on August 30, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Some museums have different opening hours: The Berlin-Hohenschönhausen Memorial is open from 5 pm to 1 am, the Stasi Museum in Lichtenberg from 6 pm to midnight and the New Synagoge Berlin Foundation – Centrum Judaicum in Mitte from 8 pm to 2 am.
The two children’s museums, the Labyrinth Children’s Museum in Wedding and the MACHmit! Children’s Museum in Prenzlauer Berg, will be open from 4pm to 10pm, as will the House of World Cultures with a special children’s programme.
The Archenhold Observatory in Treptow opens from 5 p.m. to midnight, while the Wilhelm Foerster Observatory in Schöneberg opens from 8 p.m. to midnight.
From August 4 to August 17, the ticket costs 15 euros, if discounted, 12 euros. From 18 – 30 August, it costs 23 euros, if discounted, 17 euros. Children up to the age of 12 have free admission, but need a children’s ticket, which is free of charge. Free children’s tickets are available in advance on this website and, during the Long Night, also at participating museums.
A ticket grants entry to all participating museums and includes use of the Long Night shuttle buses.

You can buy the Long Night ticket here in the online shop. It’s also for sale at the visitBerlin Tourist Information offices in the Humboldt Forum (Mon–Sun 10:00 am–6:00 pm), at the Berlin central station (Mon–Sun 8am–9pm), at the Brandenburg Gate (Mon–Sun 10am–6pm) and at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport BER (Mon–Sun 9am–9pm).
Tickets are also available at all participating museums on the day of the event.
