There is limited accessibility in the children's museum. The exhibition hall extends over the ground floor and 1st floor. There is barrier-free access via the main entrance to the lower exhibition area. The 1st floor is only accessible via a staircase. Wheelchairs can therefore generally only be used on the ground floor.
Learning by doing is the museum’s motto. In this former factory assembly hall – now a listed building – children aged three to eleven can playfully explore the world on a surface of 1,000 square metres. In the current “Talentopia” exhibition, they can discover their special talents at creative hands-on stations – whether in art, music, logic, movement, language or social skills.
