Roads not Taken. Or: Things Could Have Turned Out Differently
Starting from key moments in German history, the Deutsches Historisches Museum presents a look back at decisive historical events of the 19th and 20th centuries. Turning points that actually happened are contrasted with possible courses of history which, for various reasons, could have, but did not, come about.
Access to the Pei Building is barrier-free. All exhibition rooms can be reached with a wheelchair-friendly lift. Wheelchairs, walking aids, mobile seats, and buggies for small children can be borrowed at the cloakroom in the Pei Building. All inclusive communication stations are connected via a tactile floor-guide system that begins when you enter the Pei Building and leads to the ticket office, the audio devices, and the exhibitions.
