Palace rooms have been redesigned, repurposed, destroyed and reconstructed. How can we find out where the works on display today came from? How can we find lost furnishings or replace them? Provenance researcher Dr. Ulrike Schmiegelt-Rietig talks about her work and the search for clues in old inventories and files, on the back of paintings and on the inside of furniture.

An elevator is available in the building. Our staff will accomany you there. There are texts in German and English in the exhibition rooms.
