### About the museum

It resembles an ancient temple: built by August Stüler in the style of Prussian Classicism and completed in 1876, the Alte Nationalgalerie houses an outstanding collection of 19th and early 20th century art. The current special exhibition uses works of impressionism and classical modernism to chart the extensive exhibition work of Paul Cassirer, one of the leading art dealers of his time.
